We're Building Hope by helping others

The Anthony Alfano Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization started by the Alfano Family in memory of Anthony Alfano. Anthony was smart beyond his years, always took control, and loved helping others in need even when he was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma at age 35. Join us in for our Annual Fundraiser on May 2nd, 2026.

The Annual Gala is Approaching!

This event will support Anthony’s mission in helping others and two local nonprofits that were near and dear to Anthony, Friends of JJ and JAR of Hope. Friends of JJ is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded by The Messana Family in memory of Jerry “JJ” Messana. Through many programs they bring hope and joy to children and families affected by pediatric diseases and hospitalizations. JAR of Hope is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded by The Raffone Family that gives their son, James, and thousands of boys just like him the chance to beat Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which currently has no cure. Through various funding and awareness campaigns, JAR of Hope remains steadfast in its mission to knockout this disease.

Each of these warriors has fought and continues to fight. They will always be seen as real-life superheroes.

We're on a mission

Bringing together donors and those in need to strengthen our community.

We Build

Our charity provides essential construction assistance to individuals and families in need, offering repairs, renovations, and rebuilding services to create safe living environments. From fixing leaky roofs to constructing accessible ramps, our mission is to restore homes—and hope—for those facing challenging times. With the support of generous volunteers and donors, we’re building stronger communities, one home at a time.

We Donate

From food and clothing to school supplies and household essentials, we ensure that those facing tough times receive the support they deserve. Every donation brings hope, dignity, and relief, helping build stronger, more resilient communities. Together, with the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we’re turning compassion into action—one gift at a time.

We Care

We believe that no one should face life’s challenges alone. Whether it’s navigating personal struggles, mental health concerns, or simply needing someone to talk to, our dedicated team is here to help. With understanding, empathy, and practical advice, we’re building a community where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.

Coming Together

After a 5 year battle with cancer Anthony passed away at the age of 40. In memory of Anthony, The Alfano Family and Friends came together with a shared purpose—to turn their loss into hope for others. Inspired by Anthony’s kindness, compassion, and generosity, they founded The Anthony Alfano Foundation, a charity dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Together they provide support, resources, and care to the community, ensuring that Anthony’s memory lives on through acts of kindness and lasting change.

"I am fueled by a genuine passion to make a positive impact in the world. I believe in the power of unity—when individuals and communities join forces, incredible solutions to pressing challenges become possible."
